FSC Road Captain Team is going into it's 4th season, a huge "Thanks" to Laura Reutter who has dedicated
her time and persistence; planning routes, copying maps for everyone, making sure our ladies get from one
destination to the next destination safely. Her work is applauded.
Road Captains are ladies who work together to help make our Chapter rides go effortlessly as possible. Whether
it's after a Chapter meeting, or a weeklong ride. R.C. assist in making the ladies feel safe as possible.
R.C. meet once a month to talk about how we can improve our riding experience. We vote on New Road Captains &
Lead Road Captain at the end of every season and make decisions as a team. Our team evaluates our past journeys
and at the end of the riding season we add R.C. as needed. We base our decisions on riding experiences, and
commitment to help new riders. We all are required to attend Basic and Advanced Bystander Assistance class we
also attend Gary's FAB slow ride class.
At September's R.C. meeting, we nominated 2 additional R.C. for our Spring riding season. Laurel and Tiffaney congratulations to both. My shouts out to all of the other Road Captains... you know who you are.
Your commitment to our Chapter is amazing. My hats off to ya!!
Riding my own since 99, it all started when I was 8, riding little mini bike and then my best friends Honda 70.
For real, my first bike was a Honda Shadow which I rode for a season. Suzuki Intruder for a few years, I then
started to get into riding a little more. Been riding my Fatboy since 04, and needless to say it's my passion!!
I took some serious trips this year, and our weather has been Wonderful. Riding around the Great Lakes, the usual
Wisconsin WIM ride is always a treat, Lady Biker Day. My biggest accomplishment this year was riding to Missouri
by myself where I met up with Katie & Vicki. Back and forth over the Mississippi River a few times trying to find
each other. Bahahahahahaha... and had a blast. After that I also rode up North for a little over nite run,
thanks to Tiffaney.
I can now say riding by myself doesn't intimidate me at all!! I just ride on........
