I'm Paulette, I ride a 2006 1200 Custom Sportster, nicknamed "Spanky". I was scared to death to ride it to work in traffic when I first got it and said to myself one morning "Spank it all the way there, you'll be fine" so i've called her "spanky - spankster" ever since. I even had it custom pin striped hot pink with her name on the back fender in celebration of my birth to riding.

I always wanted a Harley, told myself i'd get one for my 40th birthday - I turned 39 and figured what the heck and went to the dealer. I couldn't ride it when I bought it, a friend rode it home for me. I took the riding MSF class and was "born" on 4-29-2007. I will never forget the beaming smile on my face (and the realiziation I needed a windshield when I ate a few bugs) going down Hospital Road in Waterford screaming "I LOVE THIS "beep"!!! It has been the absolute most exhilerating experience of my life and I wouldn't trade it now to wait till i'm 40! I've put almost 3500 miles on in 4 1/2 months. Nothing compared to most but TONS for me.

I joined FSC in May 2007. I have 3 kids so it's hard to get time away so I ride to work, to friends houses, to bike nights, visiting family, charity rides and more. I've made a ton of new friends, learned some new rules and respect along the way.
